  • Xanthurenic acid in the urine is suggestive of deficiency of Vitamin B6
  • Patient presenting with pellagra, parkinsonism, convulsions, anemia and kidney stones has deficiency of Pyridoxal phosphate
  • Homocystinuria, Oxaluria & Xanthinuria are pyridoxine dependant
  • Pyridoxine deficiencies is seen in Isoniazid
  • Pyridoxine vitamin deficiency is responsible for neonatal seizure
  • Predominantly sensory neuropathy is/are caused by Cisplatin & Pyridoxine excess
  • In pyridoxine deficiency, tryptophan is converted to Xantheurenic acid
